    Changwon (South Korea): There was no stopping the golden run of India’s junior shooters with Hriday Hazarika claiming the men’s 10m air rifle top honours before the women’s team combined for a new world record and gold at the ISSF World Championships here Friday.

    Changwon (South Korea): Asian Games gold-medallist Saurabh Chaudhary shattered the world record to claim the junior 10m air pistol gold at the ISSF World Championships here Thursday but senior shooters failed to impress yet again. Arjun Singh Cheema settled for a bronze in the same event and the Indian team took the silver, propelled by Chaudhary’s phenomenal individual performance.

  • ISSF World Championships: Bronze for junior mix team in 10m air rifle; seniors misfire  

    Changwon: Divyansh Singh Panwar and Shreya Agarwal netted a bronze in the 10m air rifle mixed team junior event but India’s senior shooters drew a blank on day four of the ISSF World Championships here. Divyansh and Shreya first took the fifth and final qualification spot among 42 teams with a score of 834.4 and then shot a combined 435 in the finals to fetch the third place Wednesday.
