    Ujjain: Government of India is promoting cleanliness amongst the people of rural India. Various programmes are being held at institutions across India. An NSS camp under the theme of hygiene and sanitation was held at the School of Excellence at Karohan village from January 12 to 18.

  • Bhopal: Workshop on digital payment at BHEL

    BHOPAL: In a bid to promote Government of India’s cashless payment campaign, BHEL corporate office, New Delhi has directed the units to impart training on digital payments to all the employees of the units. In this direction a workshop on digital payment was held today at BHEL, Bhopal for the contract labourers of the unit. Around 1,000 labourers participated in the programme.

  • Another Kasab-like boat apprehended

    Mumbai : Indian Coast Guard ship ‘Samudra Pavak’ apprehended a suspected Pakistani boat with nine crew members off the Gujarat coast at around 10:15 am on Sunday. Preliminary information indicates that the crew members are fishermen. The boat was escorted to Porbander for investigation.
