    3 injured in blaze caused by gas leak in Bhiwandi

    Bhiwandi: Three members of a family, including a woman and a boy, suffered serious burn injuries after a fire broke out due to leakage in cooking gas cylinder in their house in Bangalpada area of Malodi village, Bhiwandi, on Saturday early morning. The three injured are critical and are undergoing treatment at Civil hospital in Thane. The boy was sent to JJ hospital for further treatment.

    9 killed, 16 injured as fire breaks out in Taiwan hospital

    Taipei: Nine people were killed and 16 injured as fire engulfed a hospital in Taiwan’s New Taipei City on Monday, officials said. The incident took place on the seventh floor of the Weifu hospital, in Xinzhuang district, where over 200 firemen evacuated dozens of patients, but at least nine of them were dead before reaching other hospitals, Efe reported.

    Mumbai: A level III fire was reported at the Regional Transport Office (RTO), Tardeo, on Sunday morning which was doused after three hours by the fire brigade.     Mumbai: Two minor fires were reported in a single day in Mumbai on Thursday. A small fire gutted a gala in Lower Parel’s Mathuradas Mill Compound on Thursday morning. Two fire tenders were rushed to the spot and doused the fire within an hour. The fire reportedly started around 11.05 am and was doused by 11.28 am, said a fire official.
