    Mumbai: Commuters soon to be able to buy tickets from ATVMs using debit and credit cards

    Mumbai: Soon rail commuters will be able to buy tickets using their debit and credit cards from the automatic ticket vending machines (ATVM). A senior railway official said at present, the retrofitted point-of-sale (PoS) devices are being tested by the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) and it will be installed on ATVMs. The CR has not set any deadline as by when the terminals will be installed.
