  • Bhopal: Police to take CERT help following Damoh student suicide

    Bhopal: The police will take help of Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-in) to know the details about the death of the student in Damoh district on Sunday. IG intelligence Makrand Deouskar said it was reported that many students were playing the Blue Whale game. In MP two incidents had been reported in which one student was saved before committing suicide, but in another case Damoh’s Swastik allegedly committed suicide on Sunday.

  • Bhopal: Guest teachers terminated for raising slogans against CM

    BHOPAL: Divisional commissioner of Sagar have issued termination letters to guest teachers for raising slogans against the CM during his visit to Damoh district on April 12. On Wednesday CM Chouhan had visited Damoh district, during which the guest teachers had raised their demand of regularisation in the school education department. The teachers raised slogans despite assurance given by the CM.

  • Indore: Life imprisonment to two for rape, murder

    Indore: A local court on Monday awarded life imprisonment to two persons for raping and killing a 20-year-old girl who hailed from Damoh district. Judge AK Paliwal handed down the sentence to Gabbu Ali and his friend Javed and imposed a fine of Rs 2000 each on them.
