    The divide between classes seems to be widening as assembly election closes up. Now the OBC, SC, ST Ekta Manch has demanded 27% reservation for the OBC (Other Backward Castes) in Madhya Pradesh. MP coordinator of Ekta Manch, Lokendra Gurjar while talking to media said that the population of OBC in state stands at 54%. MP is providing 14% reservation to OBC that is against norms, he added.

  • Madhya Pradesh: 9 arrested for pelting stones on CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s vehicle

    Sidhi: Nine suspected Congress workers were arrested on Monday for allegedly pelting stones on Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s vehicle in Madhya Pradesh’s Sidhi district. No one was hurt in the incident on Sunday night near Churhat town, around 540 km from Bhopal, but a windowpane of the vehicle was damaged, police had said. Churhat is the assembly constituency of Congress leader Ajay Singh, who is also the leader of Opposition in the assembly.
