    Mumbai: A Non-Cognisable offence has been registered by the Ghatkopar police against Ram Kadam, a Member of Legislative Assembly from the Bhartiya Janata Party. On September 3, at a dahi-handi event at Ghatkopar, Kadam had stated that if men proposed women and they did not agree, he would get the women kidnapped.

    Maharashtra: Social worker files writ against BJP MLA Prashant Bamb for harassment

    Mumbai: A writ petition was filed by a social worker, Jaya Patil, against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Prashant Bamb from Aurangabad in the Bombay High Court, for allegedly blackmailing and extorting contractors of Maharashtra and assaulting police officers in police stations, bragging about his close relations with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

    Nagpur: A former Maharashtra minister allegedly announced a reward on Thursday for anyone who “cuts off the tongue” of BJP MLA Ram Kadam, whose “would abduct the girl a boy has liked” statement has triggered a huge controversy.     Ahmedabad: A sessions court here today declared former BJP MLA Nalin Kotadiya an absconder in the multi-crore bitcoin extortion case being probed by the state Criminal Investigation Department (CID-Crime). Additional sessions judge P G Tamakuwala declared Kotadiya a “proclaimed offender” (absconder) under section 82 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC ) in response to an application by the CID, and asked him to appear before the court within 30 days.
