  • Alwar lynching case: Supreme Court agrees to hear plea seeking court-monitored probe

    New Delhi: The Supreme Court will next week hear a plea by Alwar lynching victim Rakbar Khan’s family, who sought a court-monitored probe on Monday. The plea also sought transfer of the trial out of Rajasthan. On September 7, the Alwar police charged three men linked to the murder of Rakbar Khan.

  • Five arrested with copper worth Rs 54 lakh

    Indore : Pandharinath police on Wednesday arrested five persons and seized a copper-laden container worth Rs 54 lakh. They loaded the copper from the transport in Alwar and instead of going to Bangalore they were planning to sell the copper in the city.
