    Mumbai: The BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) chief Ajoy Mehta, on the basis of two separate inquiry reports, has ordered the suspension of four officials connected with the Jogeshwari land scam. There will be a detailed departmental inquiry against the remaining 14 officers.

    Jogeshwari Rs 500 crore land scam probe report submitted to civic chief

    Mumbai: The probe report on the Jogeshwari land scam was submitted by the Additional Municipal Commissioner of Nidhi Choudhari to the on Tuesday to civic chief Ajoy Mehta. The disputed plot measured at approximately 14,000 square metres is valued at Rs 500 crore, was reserved for a hospital and recreational ground (RG).

    HC summons municipal commissioner over non-compliance of order

     Mumbai:  Irked by non-compliance of court orders by municipal authorities, the Bombay High Court has directed Mumbai civic chief Ajoy Mehta to appear before it tomorrow.     Mumbai: Civic commissioner Ajoy Mehta on Thursday did a site visit to Bandra East Chamdawadi nullah, which creates flooding in Khar west and Bandra areas during monsoon.
