After losing by 201 runs against Pakistan in the first ODI, Zimbabwe will like to prove itself when they face Pakistan on Monday at Queens sports club, the match will began at 12:45 (IST).
It’s been an unlucky year for Zimbabwe as they have lost most of the matches they have played. A few key players are injured and many are not playing because they have not been paid their due salaries and match fees by the Zimbabwe cricket board. However, Hamilton Masakadza, Chamu Chibhabha and Peter Moor are the biggest hopes for Zimbabwe when it comes to batting. They certainly have a huge challenge ahead of them and also a right opportunity to prove their power.
Zimbabwe: Brian Chari, Chamu Chibhabha, Hamilton Masakadza (c), Tarisai Musakanda, Peter Moor, Ryan Murray (wk), Donald Tiripano, Liam Nicholas Roche, Wellington Masakadza, Tendai Chatara, Blessing Muzarabani
Pakistan played nicely in the opening game of the ongoing ODI series against Zimbabwe, they scored 308 runs in their allotted 50 overs. Though they could have scored much more. Pakistan comes into this series on the back of a 0-5 series defeat against New Zealand in January. However, Pakistan don’t have any injury concerns ahead of the second ODI as all their players seem to be in good physical condition.
Pakistan: Fakhar Zaman, Imam-ul-Haq, Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik, Sarfraz Ahmed (c/wk), Asif Ali, Faheem Ashraf, Shadab Khan, Hasan Ali, Mohammad Amir, Usman Khan
