23 Grand Slam champion Serena Williams gave birth to a 6-pound, 14 ounce baby girl on September 1. And now, the tennis star has introduced her daughter- Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. to the world with an online video and a Instagram photo. For her fans delight, Alexis and Serena documented their entire pregnancy journey and shared the touching finished video diary online on Wednesday. Serena posted a picture on her Instagram page showing her cradling her daughter while the video shows Williams training throughout the year, winning the Australian Open while eight weeks pregnant and finished by announcing Alexis’s name, date of birth and weight. In the video, Williams says there were “a lot of complications” but does not elaborate. The baby is named after her father and Williams’ fiance, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. In the video, Williams refers to her daughter as “Junior.”
