Johannesburg: Miguel Angel Jimenez has equaled Scotland’s Colin Montgomerie’s European Tour record of nine career hole-in-ones by acing the eighth hole during the second round of the Spanish Open. The Spaniard showed off his best dance moves in celebrations after using a six-iron to ace the par-three eighth hole at Real Club de Golf El Prat, Sport24 reported. However, Jimenez was left six strokes behind Frenchman Edouard Espana who led the way after a 69 gave him a seven-under total of 137. Jimenez could only manage a one-under-par 71 in the game. Argentina’s Richardo Gonzalez (69) was one stroke off the pace while Darren Fichardt (73) of South Africa and Michael Hoey (68) of Britain shared third position at the total of 139. Sergio Garcia, who is currently world number seven, was on 147 after carding a 72.
