The third day of the second Test between India vs South Africa at SuperSport Park, Centurion lived up to its billing and the match is poised for a close finish. South Africa in the second innings are 90/2 leading by 118 runs with AB de Villiers and Dean Elgar holding the fort together. India was frustrated by bad light and rain and captain Kohli was visibly frustrated with the proceedings.
Earlier in the day, Kohli stroked a magnificent 153 to take India close to Proteas’ total and it was a classy innings by the skipper, who single-handedly took the attack to the opposition. India will have to fight it out on day 4 to remain competitive in the series and a lot will depend on how India controls de Villiers.
