IPL 2018, Match 38: FPJ’s Dream XI for Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals

FOLLOW US:

Kings XI Punjab, who are at the fourth place in the points table, will take on Rajasthan Royals who are bottom-placed. Similar to KXIP, RR too is coming off two straight defeats, but Punjab is placed much better than its next opponents and is pretty much in with a chance to qualify for the playoffs. Kings XI lost their last match against Mumbai Indians. The team has been boosted by some big hitters such as Chris Gayle, KL Rahul, Karun Nair, and Aaron Finch whom the team can rely on. Their presence makes the top and middle order strong. Here is the probable dream XI for the Kings XI:

KXIP: Chris Gayle, KL Rahul, Yuvraj Singh, Karun Nair, Ankit Rajpoot, Marcus Stoinis, Mayank Agarwal, Axar Patel, R Ashwin, Andrew Tye, Mujeeb Ur Rahman,

On the other hand, Royals too lost their last game. For them, the main man will be Jos Buttler who scored 18-ball half century against Delhi Daredevils and will look to replicate the same. Royals took a good step making Buttler open the innings. Skipper Ajinkya Rahane too will look to score and inspire his team. The last time Royals emerged victories was against Mumbai Indians, so they would want to repeat the same.

RR: Rahul Tripathi, Ajinkya Rahane, Jofra Archer, Dhawal Kulkarni, Sanju Samson, Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler, Shreyas Gopal, K Gowtham, Jaydev Unadkat, Ben Laughlin
