New Delhi: Limited-overs captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni believes that Indian bowling unit is looking very balanced and settled going into next month’s World T20. “Our bowling has been good in the T20 format on the back of experienced line-up. We are looking good as of now. There is a lot of consistency in death bowling and first six overs. Overall bowling looks very balanced,” Dhoni told reporters on the sidelines of an event by Rhiti Group in New Delhi.
Premier spinners Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja in addition to Jasprit Bumrah and Ashish Nehra handled the Indian bowling lineup efficiently during the back-to-back series victories over Australia and Sri Lanka. India are going into next week’s Asia Cup T20 as the number one team in the world and will aim to lift the shortest format’s pinnacle event title for a second time.
