Sri Lankan pacer Lasith Malinga famously known as ‘Slinga Malinga’ is celebrating his 35th birthday today. Wishes from all over cricket fraternity are pouring in for the unorthodox bowler and among them is master blaster Sachin Tendulkar. Sachin has extended his wishes in a quirky style. While wishing the Lankan speedster, Sachin shared a picture of himself with the pacer and wrote, “When it came to batting against #LasithMalinga, I always said … baal ko Nahin, ball ko Dekho (don’t look at the hair, look at the ball). Happy birthday, my friend”.

To note, Sachin and Malinga were part of the IPL franchise Mumbai Indians. Malinga is famous for his unorthodox bowling style and his bowling deceived top batsman even they tried to play his yorkers. Malinga made his Test debut in 2004 against Australia and last played more than seven months ago in the home series against India. Malinga was also not retained by Mumbai Indians for 2018 season. Instead, then opted for a stint as a mentor for the Mumbai Indians franchise.
