  • Ujjain: Civic workers on mass leave today demanding benefits of 7th Pay Commission

    Ujjain: Angered by the discriminatory behavior of Madhya Pradesh government, workers of Ujjain Municipal Corporation (UMC) will go on a state level strike on the call of Nagar Nigam Nagar Palika Karmchari Sangh. This was decided in a meeting of the union workers, which was held on Thursday to remind and make employees aware of their rights.

  • Ujjain: Couples tie the knot in mass marriage ceremonies

    Ujjain: Rathore Kshtriya Samaj Trust conducted mass marriages of 51 couples free of cost on the occasion of Akshay Tritiya. Media in-charge Arun Rathore informed that the marriages were conducted in the Samajik Nyay Parisar, Agar road under the guidance of 11 brahmins.

    Ujjain: Two boys, aged 3 and 5 years, died after drowning in the Khan river on Wednesday. Krishna Malviya and Balram Malviya were residents Naikhedi village on Indore road. They were playing in the river when they slipped and drowned.
