    Bhubaneswar: Several parts of Odisha have been experiencing heavy to very heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms under the impact of cyclonic storm Daye. The cyclone crossed Odisha coast near Gopalpur in the early on Friday. It has caused heavy to very heavy rainfall in Gajapati, Ganjam, Puri, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Koraput, Malkangiri and Nabarangpur districts. Tribal-dominated district of Malkangiri has been the worst affected.

    Maharashtra: 5 including 3 kids dead as truck rams auto-rickshaw

    Nagpur: Five persons including three children were killed and six others were injured in a collision between an auto-rickshaw and a truck near Nagpur in Maharashtra Thursday.     Bhubaneswar/New Delhi: A cyclone will hit the coasts of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh on late Thursday night, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said. A deep depression is moving at a speed of about 12 kmph and is likely to intensify into a cyclonic storm in the next 12 hours, the cyclone warning division of IMD said in the evening on Thursday.
