Sushant Palkar of Greater Bombay Co- Op Bank & Madhura Vanjari of National Co- Op Bank lifted the titles of the Inter Co- Operative Banks Chess Tournament organized by the Cooperative Bank Employees Union, Mumbai as part of their 52nd Anniversary Day Celebration at Dadar ( W) on Wednesday. The championship was sponsored by Greater Bombay Co- Op Bank Ltd & NKGSB Co- Op Bank Ltd. The event was played under Swiss League.

Sushant won six out of six rounds and remained undefeated.

Mayuresh Bandkar of NKGSB Bank bagged the second place scoring five points out of six.

In the womens category, Madhuri Vanjari of National Co- Op Bank won the womens final by scoring six out of six points. Vanita Chougule of NKGSB Bank finished runner- up with five points.
