The Police claimed to have cracked a blind murder case of Ratibad police station on Wednesday. Police have arrested three persons in this connection.
A few days ago, police had recovered a body from a well at Mundla village. Postmortem report revealed the cause of death was strangulation.
Police made the news public in entire area.
The Sarpanch of a village in Sehore district, Shivcharan informed the police that Bhagirath, 45, son of Gopilal Gaur, resident of Dhankhedi went missing from February 3.
And report of missing person was filed with Mandi police station, Sehore. Body was identified on the basis of clothes and photo.
During investigation and on the basis of phone calls, the police came to know that Ansuia Bai, wife of Phul Singh who is Bhagiraths younger brother, had an affair with Achal Singh of the same village. Phul Singh is a little mentally disturbed. So Bhagirath was upset over the affair.
Bhagirath used to scold Anusuia and Achal Singh.
Police did not find any criminal record of Bhagirath in investigation. Bhagirath was an addict.
Anusuia admitted her affairs before police and even told that Bhagirath wanted to have physical relations with her.
According to police, Achal hatched conspiracy to eliminate Bhagirath as the latter used to object over illegal relations. Therefore, Bhagirath with Achal Singh in inebriated condition left for Kalapipal on bike on February 3 but did not return.
Achal offered liquor to Bagirath on the way to Kalapipal. And Achal called his nephew Sunil, son of Radheshyam, resident of Bangla Khajuri under Mandi police station, at Sehore Railway Crossing, and then trio moved on.
Sunil lives in rented house in Sehore and is a driver.
Trio again consumed liquor and then drove on to Phanda.
Achal saw a well on the way. Achal told Sunil to stop the bike. It was midnight.
Bhagirath was in an unconscious state.
The duo strangulated him and dumped the body in the well. Police arrested Anusuia, Achal and Sunil in this connection.
Womans beau was killed by her husbands brother, accomplice Accused who were booked in connection with murder, being produced before media at police control room in the city on Wednesday.
