Youth Congress ( YC) city president Deepak Joshi 'Pintu', state secretary Mukesh Yadav and others expressed their concern over current law and order situation in the city.

In a press release, they said that the recent gang rape of two girls in Betma and murder of journalist Chandrika Rai and his family exposed deteriorating law and order situation in the state.

In support of their demands, they will stage a demonstration at the Commissioners office, on Thursday. On the occasion, a memorandum addressed to the Governor would also be handed over to the authorities.

They also demanded CBI enquiry into the cases.
