Another IAS officer belongs to scheduled caste has come forward to criticize the state government for not doing 'justice'to her in terms of promotion and good postings, after Ramesh Thete, who openly threatened to commit suicide.
The 1999 batch promotee IAS officer, Shashi Karnavat, posted at present as deputy secretary of technical education department, has sent a letter to leader of opposition Ajay Singh and MLAs.
She said she would move to the national woman commission and seek support of team Anna if she does not get justice.
Earlier, an officer of municipal service, Karnavat joined state administrative service and was subsequently promoted in IAS cadre. She said she was victimized only because she belongs to Dalit community.

Ramesh Thete, additional commissioner of Ujjain and Indore divisional, had threatened to commit suicide for not being posted as district collector.
He was reinstated in the job after six years; of suspension and termination in a bribery case, after acquittal by the supreme court.
