'Though, freedom of thoughts and opinions are two sides of a coin and it may sometime give way to difference of opinion, yet there is no scope of clashes in my administrative career,'Vikram University ( VU) Registrar Dr BL Bunkar said while responding to a felicitation programme arranged by the School of Studies ( SoS) in Economics here on Wednesday.
Dr Bunkar, who was an alumnus of the same SoS, was honoured for his services by being presented with shawl, sriphal, citation and memento by VU former vice- chancellor Prof Ramrajesh Mishra and Social Science dean Prof Dipika Gupta. Prof Gopal Krishna Sharma, Prof Gita Nayak, Dr Kedar Narayan Joshi, Dr Gajendra Parekh, Dr Ramratan Sharma and others were present.
In his address, Prof Ramrajesh Mishra described Dr Bunkar as a simple, sober and very humble person who reached heights owing only to these qualities.
Deputy- Registrar Dr BL Solanki also spoke. VUTA president Dr Umesh Singh, employees'leaders Deepak Dubey and Raju Yadav were also present. SoS head Prof Tapan Chaurey conducted the proceedings, whereas Dr SK Mishra proposed a vote of thanks.
