MP Mahila Congress Committee spokesperson and corporator Maya Trivedi lodged a complaint with the Mahakal police here on Wednesday. She alleged that she was misbehaved by Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee administrator Jayant Joshi during noontime Bhasmaarti on Tuesday. Trivedi asked police TI to take action against the temple administrator.
According to Trivedi, she received permission ( pass) for joining the noontime Bhasmaarti on February 21. When she reached temple to enter Nandi hall, administrator Jayant Joshi misbehaved with her and threatened of blacklisting her. Joshi publicly insulted Trivedi and asked her to get out of the temple.
Former leader of opposition in Ujjain Municipal Corporation Ravi Rai condemned the disgraceful act that is done by Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee Administrator Jayant Joshi.
Rai said that Joshi dishonourd corporator Maya Trivedi during Bhasmaarti
that is condemnable. A CD recording of entire incident will be presented before Chief Minister and Governor on their arrival in the city in future and will demanded terminating Joshi.
Administrator Joshi should maintain his decorum while being at such place of honour. It seemed that he has forgotten how to behave with devotees at the temple. He not only disgraced with corporator Trivedi but also misbehaved with elderly woman who came here from outside State. These accusations were imposed by MP
Women Congress SC Cell state secretary Reeta Sarwan while raising questions over working of administrator.
She called the act as autocratic one and demanded immediate termination of Joshi.
Likewise, Shri Kshetra Panda Samiti Ujjaini secretary Pt Dharmesh Hada in a press release said that Deputy Collector and Mahakal temple administrator Jayant Joshi has forgotten his limits. Joshi showed autocratic attitude during noontime Bhasmaarti held at Mahakal Mandir on Tuesday. Devotees were not permitted to enter into Nandi hall to have darshan of the Lord.
Joshi hurt religious faith of devotees while misbehaving with them. Hada also demanded termination of Joshi with immediate effect.
