The Indian Coast Guard ( ICG) helicopter Chetak was involved in a freak accident when its wheel came off while taxing on the runway due to a technical snag, but the crew of the chopper had a miraculous escape.

'One of the wheels of our Chetak helicopter collapsed before it could take off, however no one was injured in the incident. It was a technical snag,'ICG DIG A K Pokriyal told FPJ. The pilot and the co- pilot eased out of the chopper which was on flood relief operations in Valsad District of Gujarat.
