Police issue restrictions for smooth traffic

Traffic regulations are effective from Tuesday at 12.5 a.m. until 11.55 p.m on Sept 15

Mumbai: The Mumbai traffic police have issued traffic restrictions from September 5 onwards until September 15 for Ganeshotsav in order to facilitate the smooth movement of traffic.

Traffic regulations are effective from Tuesday at 12:05 a.m. until 11:55 p.m. on September 15.

There shall be “No entry” for all motor vehicles coming from Shingate Master Chowk on Mahadeo Palav Marg at Currey road flyover towards Krishna Desai Chowk at Bharat Mata junction.

There shall be “One Way” for all types of motor vehicles heading from Krishna Desai Chowk towards Mahadeo Palav Marg, Currey road flyover going towards Shingte Master Chowk.

All vehicles coming from Mahadeo Palav Marg at Currey road flyover to Krishna Desai Chowk will be diverted from Shingate Master Chowk straight to N.M. Joshi Marg.

According to Anil Kumbhare, Deputy Commissioner of Police (city), traffic, “The traffic police will be placing directional boards to guide motorists and pedestrians besides traffic personnel being posted at the relevant locations to render assistance and to ensure that lowest inconvenience is caused to the road users.”

On September 15, at the time of Ganesh Visarjan in order to facilitate smooth movement of traffic at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marg and Krishna Desai chowk and to prevent danger, obstruction and inconvenience to the public, traffic regulations will be made effective temporarily from 7 a.m. till 4 p.m.

There shall be “no entry” for all types of motor vehicles from DrBabasaheb Ambedkar road to Suparibaug junction to Krishna Desai Chowk. All south-bound vehicles will be diverted at Dr Ambedkar road towards G D Ambedkar Marg.
