Bhayandar: Beat Marshalls attached to police stations coming under the jurisdictions of the Mira Road division of the Thane (rural) police are sure to leave the people of the twin-city in envy when they will zoom around on fancy motorbikes similar to the ones we see in Hollywood flicks. In a stylish and revolutionary step aimed at making policing much quicker and smoother for beat marshals,  SP Dr. Mahesh Patil has added customized high-end, tech-loaded motorbikes to the existing fleet of vehicles.

Five bikes which were delivered at the Kashimira police station will soon hit the streets and start dispensing their much needed services during the crucial poll season in Mira Bhayandar. Designed by Gabriel Zuzarte at his Vasai-based unit Road Rage Custom Builds, the bike, a sleek 150 cc Hero Achiever has unique and innovative features including siren cum public address system, windshield with aerodynamic curves, air vents, high powered custom made red, blue and white LED flicker lights, portable first aid kit and small boxes on either sides for the police personnel to store wireless and other valuable kits.
