Since a few days temperature in Mumbai and its neighbouring towns is on the extreme level with high humidity level. But on Tuesday, areas near Mumbai like Thane witnessed unusual rainfall. The sudden rainfall may bring some relief to people of Mumbai from the heat.

People took to their Twitter and started tweeting about it, they are posting pictures and videos of rain from there respective areas.
The IMD Mumbai has forecast similar hot weather conditions for Mumbai and surrounding areas over the next few days.
However, it also made forecast of heavy rains or thundershowers at isolated locations in south-central Maharashtra and surrounding areas till Friday morning, after which the weather would remain dry.
