Mumbai: Sudhir Shrivastava replaces Bakshi as new ACS Home

Mumbai: Maharashtra Transport Secretary Sudhir Shrivastava has replaced K P Bakshi as the Additional Chief Secretary (Home).

Shrivastava will be the new ACS (Home), an official in the Chief Minister’s Office said on Wednesday.       The 58-year-old Shrivastava belongs to the 1983 batch IAS cadre and replaces Bakshi, who retired on Wednesday.

Shrivastava was earlier the Principal Secretary in the Finance Department for nearly a decade. He will retire in October 2018.


Total 10 IAS officers, including Shrivastava, were transferred. The other IAS officers include Sanjay Kumar (1984) Additional Chief Secretary, Women and Child Welfare Department, Mumbai. Kumar has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary Housing Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai.

Whereas, Shreekant Singh, IAS, (1986) Principal Secretary, Housing Department has been posted as Principal Secretary (A & S), Home Department Mantralaya, Mumbai. Sujata Saunik, IAS, (1987) Principal Secretary (1), Public Health Department, Mumbai has been posted as Principal Secretary (Financial Reforms), Finance Department Mantralaya.
