Mumbai: Acting on a complaint, the Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority, on Friday, directed a city developer to upload factually correct information of its registered realty project on the website. Abhigna Enterprises, the complainant, alleged that disclosures made by developer Incline Realty in the MahaRERA registration is misleading and a false representation.
According to the complainant, the developer has shown certain plots in layouts as adjoining land, but they are owned by them and the latter has no rights over it. Abhigna requested the authority to cancel its registration of RERA and levy a penalty for the same. However, the developer explained that the said disclosure in the layout which is proposed adjoining land will either be developed as a seperate layout or as an integrated layout amalgamated with the larger property.
He added that the redevelopment of the adjoining land is proposed and not sanctioned till date. According to the RERA committee, the disclosure made by the developer is redundant and directed the developer to upload the amended disclosure by September 16.
