Mumbai, the maximum city is bracing up for yet another monsoon fury as rains have disrupted the proceedings in the city. Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport has become partially operational after a few runways have become non-operational due to incessant downpour. Due to heavy rains water logging has taken place in several areas and local trains are running late due to showers.

Met officials have predicted heavy rainfall during the next 24 hours. Around 15 flights have been cancelled and 56 diverted diverted to different airports as the main runway continues to be out of use as the SpiceJet aircraft stuck there. Due to rains schools and colleges have remained shut for the day and city’s famous ‘dabbawalas’ have also cancelled their services.
