Helicopter Crash in Mumbai

Two people, incudling one woman and the pilot of the helicopter have been killed in the crash in Mumbai.

The helicopter – Robinson R44 – belongs to Aman Aviation, Pawans Hans, crahsed around the Filter Pada area in Aarey Colony, Goregoan.

The accident took place around noon today. However, the reason for the crash is not known as of now.

According to sources, four passengers were present in the helicopter, of which two are reportedly declared dead including the pilot
Pilot Praful Mishra and a woman named Vrinda Modi, aged 32 years.

The other two accomplines namely – Ritesh Modi (aged 36) and Sanjiv Shankar (aged 24) are also injured during the accident, and now been admitted to Seven Hills Hospitals at Marol, Andheri (East).

Luckily, the accident took place in an non-resident zone, or else the death toll could have been higher.

Six fire engines had been rushed to the accident spot, and the fire has been doused.
