Mumbai: Central Railway trains running late due to signal problem at Thakurli

The local trains on the Central Railway lines are running late this morning due to some technical problem.

According to sources, the trains are running behind schedule, in both directions, due to signal problem near Thakurli railyway station.

Passengers travelling towards Mumbai CST faced hardships this morning as trains were running 15 to 20 minutes behind schedule, leading to overcrowding of trains.

Thakurli station is second last stop towards Kalyan on the Central Lines.

In morning around 7 am the signal crashed, due which the trains got delayed. Due this problem trains going towards Mumbai and Karjat-Kasara direction were running 15-20mins late.

This led to tremendous rush in trains and people were delayed in reaching their office.
