It has been four days when a woman posted the picture of the man who sexually harassed her in a Mumbai local, according to reports GRP has registered an FIR .
In a report by leading newspaper, an FIR has been registered against unidentified person and charges include intimidation since the man had also threatened the woman and he even say he will rape her.
With the help of fellow passengers she decided to call the helpline number provided by the railways for women. She called the women helpline number to report the incident but was shocked to see the reaction of the person on the helpline number.
“I told the person on the line all the details. The train was just approaching Kandivli. Which compartment, what time. All of it. Then I told him that this person had also called us what he did. And then the person on the helpline laughed.” She was stunned at the person on the helpline could laugh at the occurrence and when asked for help, he disconnected the call.
She informed the person on the helpline the details of the train, the next station. In her Facebook post she has mentioned that the man even threatened her to rape her and also tried to board the ladies compartment at the next station but backed off because the other women yelled.
The WR RPF had tweeted earlier this week and said that they had gone through the telephonic conversation on the helpline between the woman and Izhaar and said that no one laughed at the complaint. They also said that RPF officials also attended to the train at Andheri and Malad station but the lady (complainant) was not to be found.
