Social activist Anjali Damania today began indefinite dharna at Azad Maidan demanding salaries and other dues of employees of Cambata Aviation. Affected employees and their family members also joined Damania in the protest and held various union leaders responsible for their sorry state of affairs.
According to Business Standard , addressing the gathering of aggrieved employees and their family members, Damania said, “I have a list of 57 people who used to be the so-called employees on payroll in the Cambata Aviation but never did any job as they belonged to various political parties.
“There was a systematic plan to close the company and hand over its operations to other agency without settling the dues to the existing employees.”
She also demanded that the state government and central agencies do the needful to release the dues of aggrieved employees.
