CM chairs meeting on Purandar airport

Mumbai : Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday chaired a meeting here to review progress for Chhatrapati Sambhaji Raje International Airport in Purandar, Pune.

Four models for land acquisition – Kochi Airport model, Amravti(AP) model, Maharashtra’s Samruddhi Corridor and Navi Mumbai Airport models – were discussed. These models include options like giving entire compensation, land pooling with compensation till project completion, giving another developed land in return and making land owner stake holders.

All four options be kept open for land owners to choose with added benefits. Collector, Pune authorised to go ahead with these proposals.


CM also chaired a meeting with representatives of airline companies to start scheduled services to Shirdi for the Saibaba Samadhi Centenary year in 2018.
