Partial roll back: hike not for second class suburban travelers upto 80 kms


Hike in rail fares not to apply to second class suburban trains for travel upto 80 kms: Railways.

The hike will specially not be meant for the second class passengers. Though commuters traveling in first class, will have to shell out the additional 14.2% of fare hike.

The rail tariff hikes will be applicable only for those who will be traveling 80 km and beyond.

This will be a breather for Mumbaikars, as the Mumbai lifeline was highly expecting the rollback especially the daily travellers. that is those who travel within Mumbai city.
