Over 10,000 computers hacked in China in a year

Beijing: Over 10,000 computers in China were attacked by domestic and overseas hackers between December 2014 and November 2015, Xinuha news agency reported.

According to cyber security firm Qihoo 360, a total of 29 organisations from home and abroad were involved in hacking.

“Their purpose is to steal confidential information from these computers,” said Wu Yunkun, a senior executive at Qihoo 360.
