Indore: Now, 6th direct flight for Bengaluru from July 1


Indore: There is good news for the frequent flyers to Bengaluru. IndiGo airline is going to launch its fourth flight for the capital city of Karnataka from July 1. With this, the total number of the flight operating for Bengaluru will be six. Owing to increased passenger pressure for the IT city Bengaluru, airlines are introducing flights for the financially lucrative route. In this year, four flights started for Bengaluru.

The IndiGo flight will depart from Bengaluru at 7.10 pm and land at the city airport at 9.06 pm. The airline has deployed A-320 aircraft for the flight. The number of total flights operating from the city airport will reach 68 (34 each arrival and departure).

Aviation expert Nagesh Namjoshi said that a large number of IT and management professionals from the city and Malwa region work in electronics cum IT city of India. Thus, their movement to Bengaluru is frequent.

Similarly, passenger load on the existing flights has prompted airlines to make the most of opportunity. In the summer schedule of flights, many new flights were introduced since March 25. Aviation sources said that in the next winter schedule, there is possibility of more flights not only for Bengaluru but for other destinations too.
