Indore: While the state government is considering legalising unauthorised colonies, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Tuesday signalled at regularising those colonies also which were developed illegally on green belt.
“We will think of making rules for regularisation of colonises developed on green belt areas also by making changes in land-use,” said Chouhan while talking to Mayor Malini Gaud through video conferencing on Tuesday. He, however, said that process would be conducted separately.
Gaud had interacted with the CM through video conferencing at Patidar Dharamshala at Dhar Road. The Mayor had raised the issue of illegal colonies developed on green belt and asked if they could also be regularised by changing the land-use.
Gaud informed the CM that Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) has started the process for regularisation of 572 unauthorised colonies. “We have invited objections on the notification released for the regularisation of the colonies within 30 days,” she told the CM.
