Bhopal: Loveratri film protest gets shriller; VSS threatens to sue Salman Khan


Bhopal: Expressing disappointment over his upcoming home production movie “Loveratri” Vishwa Sanatan Sangh has threatened Bollywood star Salman Khan with a court case. As per VHP, the film’s title is distorting the name of Hindu’s religious festival Navaratri.

The movie features newbies Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain has sparked a controversy which has irked the self-proclaimed social police. Previously too Vishwa Hindu Parishad(VHP) who have been threatening the superstar over the name of the film.

Vishwa Sanatan Sangh national general secretary Updesh Rana, while talking to media in Bhopal on Tuesday, said, “ Salman Khan will be sent legal notice and suit will be filed against him for hurting the sentiments of Hindus. We will protest all over the country against the release of film. The romantic drama unfolds the love story of the leading couple over the span of Navratri. The romantic drama will present the fresh pairing of debutants Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain.

It is directed by Abhiraj Minawala who will also be making his directorial debut with the film. The romantic drama will mark the fifth venture of Salman Khan Films. Written by Naren Bhatt who is based out of Mumbai and was born in Bhavnagar, directed by Abhiraj Minawala,movie is scheduled to be release on October 5.
