Bhopal: Digvijaya Singh worried over commotion in Ekta Yatra, terms it as BJP’s conspiracy

Bhopal: Former CM Digvijaya Singh is bothered by the commotion in Ekta Yatra for past two days. The yatra is taken out by former CM for coordination in state Congress leaders. Singh on Thursday expressed his concern on Tweeter and termed the commotion as BJP’s conspiracy. Singh also appealed the Congress leaders to observe patience.

The yatra met people’s resistance in Dhar and Badwani. Singh has also blamed media for it. He said, “sab logo ke saath samuhik bhojan ke unke ayojan sangat me pangat se pareshan hokar raita phailane ki yojana bani hey. hazaron karyakartayo mein se das-bees logon se chilla chot karvao aur khabar chalao.” (A plan to cause disturbance in his programme has been made. There was plan to let people raise slogans and also telecast it).

Though Singh said that he was not finalising Congress candidates for elections and he was neither supporting nor opposing anyone. Singh appealed to the party workers to observe patience and do not resort to any act, which may cause loss to the party and benefit the BJP.

He said BJP getting tensed; it is getting obvious as there is resentment in the public towards the BJP. Singh claimed that Amit Shah had directed to attack Digvijaya. According to him Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Uma Bharati were trying to get him involved in corruption case but in vain.

Meanwhile, BJP spokesman Rajnish Agarwal said Singh knew that Congress workers were opposing him. Agarwal said how it could be possible that Singh on one hand was levelling allegation and on the other, was giving clarification. According to Agarwal, Singh, who was passing through a time of frustration, was blaming sometimes BJP or sometimes media for his own failures.
