Bhopal: AIS organises talent search competition


Burhanpur: In order to choose school head boy and head girl in a transparent manner, Arwachin India School, Burhanpur organised a talent search competition in the school campus on Saturday. On the basis of results, Sayyed Sahil Shams and Smriti Gaur have been declared head boy and head girl, respectively. Competition was organised under direction of academic in-charge Girish Thakur, Sanjay Mahajan, Akshay Vani and Mayur Dhabe and all the students of class seventh participated in the competition.

School media in-charge Mirza Rahat Baig informed that school director Rakhi Mishra prepared questions for the competition. Baig informed that on the basis of students’ performance in the first round, top 10 students were selected for the second round of the competition. In the second round, these top 10 students were divided into five teams (two each) in agni, vayu, prithvi, jal and akash. In the second round, team of Sayyed Sahil Shams and Smriti Gaur excelled and on the basis of that, they were declared head boy and head girl. After competition, school former head boy Aishwarya and head girl Ikra with school director Rakhi Mishra presented badge and sash to Sayyed and Smriti and administered oath to them.

Mishra said that the sole motive behind organising competition was to develop healthy competition among the kids for their over-all development as well as to enhance general knowledge among them. School chief administrative officer Mikashi Gupta said the transparent competition will help to boost development of good qualities among the students. School director Amit Mishra also addressed the students.
