She is the epitome of grace and beauty. She garnered fame in Colour’s popular show Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi by essaying the role of Ishaani. Her incredible performance in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 8 and her sporting spirit in Box Cricket League Season 2 have left her admirers speechless. In an exclusive interview to the The Free Press Journal, Radhika Madan, talks about her current projects and future plans among other things…
What new projects are you doing currently?
Right now, I am taking a break. I have cried enough for years (laughs); I want to take a break. I am trying for big screen. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Let’s see what happens.
Is Bollywood on your list?
I am just figuring it out. I am just planning and going for meetings but nothing has materialized as yet. I am just keeping my fingers crossed.
What is your fashion mantra?
Wear whatever you’re comfortable in. Wear whatever that makes you feel like this is you. Don’t try to pretend or copy somebody else.
What character excites you or would you choose to play on small screen?
I would love to play Geet of Jab We Met if it happens on television.
How do you take criticisms and compliments in your stride?
I don’t hold on to it or moan about it. I learn from it and I don’t take it too hard be it anything. I neither take compliments seriously nor do I take criticisms seriously (laughs). All such things are bad for any individual. An individual exactly knows who he / she is and know where he / she exactly stands. I just share it and I just appreciate it and as well learn from it. That is it.
Any message to your fans?
I just want to say that I am really thankful to all of them for supporting me throughout. They are active on social media and I read each and every message of theirs. I am really thankful to them for all love.
