‘I am enjoying the real life more than before’, says Rohan Mehra

Prince of India, or so was he referred to on the popular reality show, speaks to Rohit Pramar about his stint in Bigg Boss, future plans and more…

Actor Rohan Mehra, who is better known for his role of Naksh Singhania in daily soap Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, has been eliminated from reality show Bigg Boss, and he is happy to be back in the real world. Here he speaks about his experience in the house and more.

How do you feel after eliminated from the show?
I am obviously not feeling nice because I was close to winning the show. But that does mean I am not happy. I’m doing good. I am enjoying the real life more than before. Honestly speaking, I didn’t expect myself to reach this far. I’m grateful for all the support and love. My journey has been amazing and I’m happy.

How was the experience being the show?
It was nice. There were ups and downs. There were also some people who misbehaved but eventually they were thrown out. So we became like a family after some time. I made friends like Rahulji, Guaravji, Karanji, Bani (pauses and says ‘sorry’), and Lopa. We all became good friends.

What do you have to say to about getting a lot of female attention?
What can I say? I was being friendly with everyone. Not just me, even other guys were friendly. So there is nothing special if that’s what you’re suggesting (laughs).

How’s your rapport with Bani?
I tried my best to be friends with her but in the end I didn’t think we are friends. We were just keeping it to ‘hi and hello’.

What’s next for you?
I wish to be back on TV soon and hopefully do a good show soon, maybe a movie too. If you know any good directors, suggest me. Be it TV or films, I just want to enjoy my work and good roles. But I’m quite sure that I’ll never do Bigg Boss again.
