Two killed as speeding vehicles hit them in separate incidents

Indore : A 45-year-old man was killed after a speeding car hit him near Chandan Nagar Square on Saturday. He was returning home from the condolence meeting of his aunty when the accident occurred.

According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Rajesh Prajapat, a resident of Scheme Number 71. He was returning home from the condolence meeting of his aunty in Chandan Nagar area on his motorcycle when the speeding car hit his vehicle leaving him critically injured. He was rushed to a nearby hospital by passersby where he succumbed to his injuries. Police have registered a case against errant driver and launched a search for him.

In another accident, Karan Ahirwar (40),  a resident of MIG Colony was died after a speeding vehicle hit him near Bengali Square on Friday night. Tilak Nagar police station incharge Neeraj Sarwan said that Karan hailed from Sagar and was employed in a company here. He was returning home from his job when the accident occurred. CCTV footages from near the spot are being examined to trace the vehicle and its driver.
