Six Cos to set up units SIMHASA IT PARK

Indore: Indore is all set becoming an IT hub of the state as six new companies will set up their units in the upcoming IT Park at Simhasa, soon. These companies have expressed their interest to invest Rs 112 crore in the IT Park, which is expected to complete in two years. Out of these 6 companies, 4 are from the city.

It seems the impact of TCS and Infosys is clearly visible on these medium- sized IT companies as they come forward to invest in ‘ yet- tocomplete’ IT Park at Simhasa.

Additional Chief General Manager of Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation ( MPSEDC) LK Tiwari said that six IT companies had shown interest in Simhasa IT Park and land had been allotted to two Indore based companies– Infobeans and Oswal Data.


The MPSEDC has also issued Letter of Intent ( LoI) to DSM Infocom ( Mumbai), Sylph Technologies ( Indore), New Tech Fusion ( Indore) and Penta Soft Design ( Pune). Even the DSM Infocom and Sylph Technologies have deposited the amount for the land allotted to them, while New Fusion and Penta Designer would deposit the amount soon. Infobeans is going to make highest investment of Rs 65 crore and it will also provide 1000 direct and 3000 indirect jobs.

Awarded Allotment letter

Tiwari, who was here to participate in the inauguration of Infobeans’ second campus in the city at Crystal IT Park, on Saturday, handed over the allotment letter to the CEO of Infobeans, Sidharth Sethi, and Promoters of Oswal Data Bhagwat Nagori and Harsh Nagori in a ceremony. Tiwari further said that now both the companies can start their construction work there.

It also received the letter of allotment for 10- acre land at upcoming IT Park, Simhasa. In a ceremony on Saturday, UAD Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya inaugurated the world class campus of Infobeans at Crystal IT Park. Collector Aakash Tripathi and officials of the MP State Electronics Development Corporation were also present.

Infobeans CEO Sidharth Sethi said that the new campus is spread over 40,000 sqf area. He made the investment of Rs 7 crore and 350 IT engineers have got employment there. Infobeans, a software development services company, specializes in providing customized software solutions, with its strong team members and state- of- the- art infrastructure in Pune and Indore in India, and San Ramon, CA in the USA. “ Our team is our asset,” said Sidhartha Sethi ( co- founder and CEO) said, “ There is always opportunities to earn business but one has to earn trust first. What you take home is Trust!”

SIMHASA IT PARK AT A GLANCE

The MPSEDC is developing a new IT Park on 100- acre land at Simhasa, Dhar Road, Indore for midsized IT companies.Tiwari said that it would be developed by spending Rs 40 crore.Tenders for the same have been issued and construction work will start in next 6 months.
