Industrialist opposed order of shutting down units

IMC commissioner and Pollution Control Board officials asked in a verbal order to shut-down plastic packaging units.

Indore : Industrial units indulged in manufacturing of plastic packaging units have sharply protested the verbal order of Indore Municipal Corporation Administration and Pollution Control Board to shut down such units.

Industrialist expressed their sharp anguish before the MLS in a meeting organised at office of Association of Industries of Madhya Pradesh on Saturday. On this occasion MLAs Sudarshan Gupta, Mahendra Hardia, Usha Thakur and chairman of MP Laghu Udhyog Nigam Babu Singh Raghuvanshi and representative of local MP Sumitra Mahajan Rajesh Agrawal.


MLA Thakur assured industrialist to raise their concern before officials. She said that we would not allow shutting down units. MLS Gupta extended support to industrialist stating that demands are quite justified. Officers are making interpretation of the orders according to their wish, which is making hard to run a unit. He also assured that their concern would be appraised to CM also. MLA Hardia also extend support to industrialist saying that first we shall have talk with officers if it fails to deliver the results then we shall take up the matter before state government.

Senior BJP leader Babu Singh Raghuvanshi said that extend support to industrialist. We would not allowed to shut down such units  are carrying out their job within legitimate manner. This will never be allowed to invite outside units and do atrocities on domestic one. Agrawal said that he would talk to collector and try to sort out the solution of the problem.

Earlier Yogesh Mehta heighted the problems of the units. On this occasion a large number of industrialists were present.
