Indore: Three arrested in connection with woman’s murder in Sukhliya

Indore: Three persons have been arrested in connection with killing of a woman and looting her house recently in Heera Nagar area.

On March 7, one Deepak Joshi had informed police that her mother Shantibai Joshi, a resident of Sukhliya was found unconscious in his house and household items were strewn across the floor. After inspecting the spot Heera Nagar police had registered murder and loot case and started investigation.

While examining CCTV footages from the area, police noticed some people wandering in suspicious manner in the area. One of them was identified as Ramsewak Joshi. Later, police traced his residence and came to know that he had gone to Tikamgarh. A police team was sent to Tikamgarh and from there Ramsewak was arrested.


During interrogation, he told police that he along with Santosh Joshi, a resident of Bhopal and Mahendra Razak, a resident of Mhowghat, district Tikamgarh, Kailash and Manoj killed the woman for looting her house. He further told police that he and his associates entered the house and strangled her. After killing her, they took away ornaments, cash and other items from there. Police have also arrested co-accused Santosh Joshi and Mahendra Razak. Kailash and Manoj are still at large and police are searching for them.connection with woman’s murder in Sukhliya
