Indore: Indoreans on Saturday experienced coldest night of the month as minimum temperature settled at 9.6 degrees Celsius, six notches below the season’s average. According to the MeT department, the maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded at 27.5 degrees Celsius, which was seven notches below the normal.
The chill in atmosphere has heightened spirit of the festival of colours among people and they got relief from hot and itchy atmosphere.Weathermen said, “Change in weather is the result of northern and north eastern winds. Conditions will remain same for a couple of days more.”
With the relief from the scorching heat, markets had seen a huge rush on the eve of Holi as people were busy in last minutes preparations. Roads, which usually wear a barren look on Sundays, had seen a rush till late evening.
